Terms of use
The short version: Piccove is free, your photos are yours, and you look after your own backups.
Using Piccove
Piccove is developed by ExcitoDevs ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the Piccove app or this website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them. Our privacy policy explains how Piccove handles your data: it stays on your phone.
The app
Piccove is a free camera app that saves photos and videos into topics in your phone's photo library, reads the text in them on your phone, and lets you edit them. It works offline and has no account. We may change, improve or stop offering features over time.
Your photos and your backups
- Your photos are yours. Piccove never receives, uploads or claims any right to anything you capture or add.
- You are responsible for your photos and their backups. Piccove saves into your phone's photo library and doesn't keep a copy anywhere else. If you delete a photo, lose or reset your phone, or uninstall without a backup, Piccove can't recover it. Use iCloud Photos, Google Photos or another backup you trust.
- Use it lawfully and respectfully. Don't use Piccove to capture or keep content you have no right to, or to invade someone else's privacy.
Provided as is
Piccove is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We work hard to make it reliable, but we don't promise it will be free of errors, that text recognition will always be accurate, or that it will work on every device.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss of data, photos or videos, or for any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of Piccove. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer laws of your country that can't be limited by agreement.
App Store and Google Play
On iPhone, your use of Piccove is also governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where it and these terms differ, Apple's agreement applies to the app.
On Android, the Google Play Terms of Service apply to how you get the app.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Continuing to use Piccove after a change means you accept the new terms.
